This 'fOtOwall' is about a young polynesian woman in ancient times and her anguish at the

LOSS OF HER LOVE !!!

NANA literally means in Tahitian 'to waive goodbye' ... but it is mostly used to simply say goodbye.

This is the story about a young woman's love for a young man who has left her to sail off across the great ocean to faraway islands in search of adventure and a new life.

She is heartbroken and spends many days on the beach alone in deep emotional pain. She pleads with the 'Mana' (spiritual force) to bring him back and covers herself in black sand as as an expression of her mourning. She is continually looking out to sea hoping that he will return, but secretly knowing that

she will probably never see him again.

Ocean voyages in ancient times were very dangerous as their pirogues were fragile and they could only navigate by

the stars. So many voyagers who set out to sea never returned.

This is the thirteenth in a series of 'Dreamscapes' photographed in Tahiti June 2010.

This 'fOtOfilm' is about a young woman's FEELIN' of being LOST !!!

She has the feeling of being lost and out of touch, most of the time. Always looking for an escape or a chance for change, but never knows what to choose. She feels no one understands or knows what she's feeling, 'cause even she doesn't know what she's feelin'. There's just too many things on her mind all the time she doesn't understand.

She's gotta stop this thing !!!

This film is a small tribute to the B/W PHOTOGRAPHY of the 1960's.

The twelvth in a series of fOtOfilm 'Dreamscapes' photographed in Tahiti April, 2010.

The story of a young woman with a passion for fashion who enters the world of modeling, beauty and fashion only to become disillusioned by the over commercialization of beauty and the inherent obsession with wealth and fame.

She returns to nature where she regains her spirit, her love of life and enters a new world within herself in a search for

truth and the divine.

Although 'MAYA' is purely symbolic ... the above idea was in my thoughts when creating this 'fOtOfilm'

This is the eleventh in a series of 'Dreamscapes' photographed in Tahiti during January 2010.

The story of an ALIEN being from another human race in our galaxy whose space craft had crashed into the Pacific Ocean.  She is the sole survivor and miraculously had washed up on the shore of a remote island in the South Pacific.

Being very afraid of the primitive humans on planet Earth she uses her extraordinary telepathic powers to contact another space craft that is near Earth orbit to come and rescue her and take her back to her home planet in the constellation of the Pleiades.

This is the tenth in a series of 'Dreamscapes' photographed on the black sands of Tahiti during December 2009.

A young woman's Karate Black Belt training reveals her extraordinary ability to fly so high that she shocks and stuns her opponents. It provides her with a powerful defense against any would be aggressor.

However, she discovers that not all her conflicts are external and that she must also master  inner conflicts and negative feelings that reside deep within her being before she can truly find the freedom she seeks.

'69' is a 'flashback' ... a dream about 'freedom' ... it marks a dramatic departure from the romantic themes of previous 'fOtOfilms' ... it's a bitter-sweet visual poem full of abstract symbolism ... as a young woman's dream of life during that turbulent time of 1969 are revealed ... a time when the western world was immersed in an emotional struggle of peace, love, sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, racism, Nixon and the Vietnam war ... a generational clash when revolution was heavy in the air ... the biggest anti-war demonstrations in US history were held on the Washington Mall in 1969  !!!

A passionate story of young girl's dream about the arrival of the 'HMS Dolphin', the first European ship to arrive in Tahiti in 1767, when the island was claimed by Captain Samuel Wallace and named 'King George's Island' in honor of King George III of Great Britain and Ireland who was the reigning monarch of the time. This is the seventh story in a series of 'fOtOfilms' - emotional 'Dreamscapes' photographed on the dramatic black sands of Tahiti during April 2009. 'A'AIA' is the the Tahitian name for a 'white bird' (tern) which has a an important significance in the ancient Ma'ohi culture as this bird that represents the presence of the 'MANA' ... the all powerful life force highly revered throughout Polynesia ... whilst taking these photographs of Eyanne on the beach in Tahiti, two of these white birds appeared above our heads and circled for several minutes looking down at us ... it was a very good omen for us ... hence the name of this bird became the name of the film. Body painting is primarily associated with Easter Island, the islands of New Guinea and Australia but was not practised in Tahiti ... however as 'A'AIA' is a surreal dream ... artistic license permits it's use here.
